I am currently assembling a my annual collection of Rotten Apples in Education Awards and came across your piece on Blaming the Messenger in connect with TAKS cheating.
During the course of this scandal someone–maybe a board member in Dallas–accused Caveon, the company hired to investigate, of overstating the problem because it was in their financial interest to do so. Cannot currently locate an article about that. Do you recall it?
I finally have my own domain so I'm moving this blog to www.texasedspectator.com. All posts and comments from before the first of this year have been moved. Please visit my new site to make any comments or read any of the new posts.
